The Riverview Lionettes were formed in March 1968 as an auxiliary group to aid the Lions in their projects and work.

Besides helping the Lions, they have fund raising projects of their own to support various groups in the area. Some of these are Girl Guides and Brownies, Senior Citizens, S.P.C.A., Albert County Christmas Aid, Moncton Hospital, Madonna House, the Riverview Cenotaph, the deaf, the blind and the mentally handicapped. They also volunteer their time to assist with Riverview Winter Carnival and Summer Days.

This small group (13 at present) of women enjoy all the facets of work involved in serving their community.
